What should I do after I first log in?

After you have the theme installed, you’ll want to set it up so that its customized for your team. Work through each of these steps:

1. Visit the Theme Options area and choose your colors/themes.

At the bottom of the left-hand sidebar is an item that says Theme Options. It is comprised of three different areas: General Options, Roster Options, and Schedule Options. Get more details about what can be customized.

2. Set up some of the four team Widgets

Widget areas are available on the home page as well as the right sidebar of some other pages. Four custom widgets are available that connect with areas around your theme. Get started by going to Appearance > Widgets.

3. Add a few Home Banners

The home banners are an area to feature your favorite photographs as well as get important messages out to your website visitors. Use them creatively. Look for it in Home Banners > Add New.

4. Add content like your Schedule, News, Roster, and Galleries!

Your website needs content! Each area has specific information that needs to be filled out.

5. Customize the Main Menu

If you have created other pages (such as an “About Our Team” page, “Contact Page” or anything else that is not currently in the menu, then you should use WordPress’ menu builder to add them. Get a start in Appearance > Menus. Read the full instructions here.
